Season Ten Kicked off with the Battle at Bartram

Trojan Mountain Bike Team and Mill Creek High School come out on top during the inaugural race of the 2023 season.

Blue Ridge, GA - The Georgia Cycling Association kicked off Season Ten with the Battle at Bartram, presented by Northside Hospital. This youth mountain bike race was the first in the 2023 race series and had 804 student-athletes registered to participate.

Hydration was crucial as athletes had to contend with sweltering temperatures and relatively high humidity. While the course traverses the Bartram Forest Wildlife Management Area, it is not entirely covered by the shade of pine trees. Therefore, riders had to contend with the sun on a mostly sunny weekend.
