Northside Hospital Announced as Presenting Sponsor of Georgia Cycling Race Series

BLUE RIDGE, GA - The Georgia Cycling Association is proud to announce Northside Hospital as its presenting sponsor for the 2022 Georgia Cycling Race Series.

The Georgia Cycling Race Series presented by Northside Hospital is an opportunity for student-athletes to set competitive goals to achieve their personal best. The fall race series consists of five weekends of competition with over 60 teams from across Georgia pushing for excellence. Professional timing, course preparation, and risk management ensure that all student-athletes can compete in an environment that is both fun and safe.

Georgia Cycling has a “no tryout” policy and emphasizes a “finish over podium” approach when it comes to student-athlete competition. It is this focus on living a healthy life and exceeding your personal expectations that has a record number of student-athletes and volunteer coaches joining this youth mountain bike program.

“We are honored that Northside Hospital has chosen to grow their relationship with Georgia Cycling by becoming our race series presenting sponsor. Northside Hospital’s commitment to the health and wellness of our community strengthens our ability to enable Georgia’s youth to build life-long healthy habits through the sport of mountain biking,” said Kenny Griffin, Executive Director of Georgia Cycling.

“Northside Hospital has built strong partnerships with athletic organizations who join us in encouraging everyone to get outside and move more. We are proud to support the Georgia Cycling Association for a fifth year and we look forward to an exciting race series,” stated Lee Echols, Vice President, Northside Hospital.

The 2022 race schedule will be announced at 3:30 p.m. on March 1 and registration for student-athletes will open on April 1.
