Join the Georgia Cycling Association and the Hawkins Bike Club for a morning of free family fun at Dauset Trails Nature Center on Saturday, June 13, 2026. Our Girls Ride team will host “Stranger Things: The Dirt Side Down.”
Take advantage of this opportunity for young women to experience the excitement of cross-country mountain biking. This event will combine various fun activities designed to provide both physical and mental exercise… with the added benefit of making new friends!
Girls Ride events are free and open to girls in 2nd through 12th grade and adult women. This is an excellent opportunity for youth to explore becoming student-athletes in our TeamMTB program and for adults to learn how easy and rewarding it can be to become youth mountain bike coaches. ATTENDEES ARE ENCOURAGED TO REGISTER IN ADVANCE.

TALK WITH OUR GIRLS RIDE CHAMPIONS
The Girls Ride Champions will be on site for this event. This group of accomplished women is a fantastic resource for new riders and their parents. They can answer your questions about what it is like to participate in the Georgia Cycling Association as either a student athlete or coach.
EVENT SCHEDULE
9:45 a.m. - Check-in Opens: Sign your participation waiver and have your bike and helmet checked. All participants must be checked in by 10 a.m.
10 a.m. - Ice Breaker Activities
10:30 a.m. - Ride through the forest while working together to solve fun challenges to save the world!
12:00 p.m. - Celebrate your accomplishments. You’ll be able to spend quality time making connections and build community with new friends, all while enjoying refreshments and treats.
